I draw inspiration from everything. As an art and design enthusiast, I draw inspiration from my environment; I never do the same thing twice. I have to be motivated and on the lookout for new trends to stay ahead of the times and produce tailor-made designs…”

C&B: “Savina, firstly, congratulations on appearing on the CITY & BEACH INTERNATIONAL BEST DRESSED LIST 2025. Why is it important for you to present your team and yourself immaculately in the way that you do?”
SU: “As I work in the luxury market, I have to be impeccable and discreet. I must surpass myself and constantly renew myself to surprise my customers. I have to keep abreast of trends and remain calm and smiling at all times. Finding solutions no matter what. Being surrounded by a solid team, I pay particular attention to detail – they make all the difference and make each project unique…”

C&B: “Almost everyone is influenced in their style by an icon – which fashion designers are your favourites, past and/or present?”
SU: “One of my favourite fashion designers is Yves St Laurent; I find his creations timeless. He also imposes his silhouettes in singular and daring settings. This aligns perfectly with my current motto ‘less is more’ – being grand without being superfluous. Therefore, for timelessness and pure chic, I’d say both Yves St Laurent and Chanel (above, right)…”

C&B: “Yes, classics are amongst the favourites on our BEST DRESSED LIST. Do you have a favourite outfit in your wardrobe right now?”
SU: “My black suit with pearls. It’s chic and elegant. Timeless with a few details. Suitable for all situations. It’s also very comfortable…”
C&B: “When you think back over the years, which outfits have been your favourite?”
SU: “If I think in terms of comfort, I’d say my down jacket and my moon boots, which accompany me to every high-altitude event. As for a chic outfit, I’d say something in the neutral tones of black or beige. Sophisticated and versatile. I try always to be chic and elegant while respecting the dress code…”
C&B: “On the subject of dress codes, which events have attended recently that required you to wear something extra-special?”
SU: “I’ve had several special dress-codes in recent years. The most memorable were at the RSVP event in Venice, where the theme was the Venice carnival, but as a chic and elegant version. The one in St Moritz was 80s skiwear, with the Fabbagirls on the slopes. In Paris, it was Marie-Antoinette mixed either with electro or the latest ‘Emily in Paris’ (below, left). It was a real challenge to follow the dress code while keeping my authentic style…”

C&B: “That all sounds incredibly glamorous – when you’re accessorising your every day outfits, which must-have items do you never leave home without?”
SU: “Without hesitation I’d say my watch and my phone so that I always have a sense of time and can meet deadlines, plus I always carry a foundation powder and a lipstick with me. My handbag is, of course, a must-have for all my essentials during events…”
C&B: “As you travel a great deal, can you share any tips for maintaining a stylish yet comfortable look when going overseas?”
SU: “I wear a comfortable and classy jumper dress with beautiful loafers that go with everything!”
