Erica Pelosini grew up in Florence, immersed in art in all its forms. Her first job was modeling for Armani before she pursued studies in fashion and marketing in Paris. While in Paris, she began her career at Vogue, which provided her with the opportunity to meet numerous exceptionally talented individuals in the fields of photography and entertainment. Erica now resides in the United States, where she works as a consultant in fashion, art, and film. She has been featured in ‘Emily in Paris,’ a series she describes as “basically the story of my life”…
C&B: “Erica, firstly: Congratulations for being listed on the CITY & BEACH INTERNATIONAL BEST DRESSED LIST 2025! How do you define your personal style, and how has it evolved over the years?”
EP: “Thank you! I describe my style as ‘classy but zesty.’ Over the years, I have come to appreciate timeless pieces more and more, rather than trends. To make my look my own, I like to take something new that excites me and mix it with my classic pieces. Sustainability is our future, and I love to support brands dedicated to that; I also wear vintage pieces from both my mum and grandma…”
C&B: “You often attend events looking fantastic in gowns – which fashion designers are your favourites, past or present?”
EP: “My favourite designers are Chanel and Ralph Lauren – I love chic but girly…”
When I’m travelling, I love to wear one of my sets by Alo – stylish, cute and very comfortable…”

C&B: “Yes, they both create beautiful, timeless pieces. Do you have any particular fashion icons that inspire your personal style, past or present?”
EP: “My inspiration comes from women such as Jackie Kennedy, Brigitte Bardot, Jane Birkin and HRH Diana, Princess of Wales…”
C&B: “All of these ladies are true icons of style – when it comes to classic fashion pieces, which are the favourites in your wardrobe, and why?”
EP: “Vintage Hermes and Chanel bags from my grandma are priceless forever pieces…”
I’m excited about my upcoming projects, which include my new line that will support my horse charity (see above in this month’s VANITY FAIR). I grew up with horses; I’ve dedicated my life to them, and this is my way to recharge away from the scene…”

EP: “The LACMA gala – it’s one of my favourite events as it includes fashion, film and the arts…”
